another site we need to know about

Hi sistas,
I finally got myself to visit Little shop of 100% handmade, in Carnegie. It is just gorgeous with lots of inspiring stuff. I bought myself 2 new rings (oops!) but left with a lot less than I really wanted.
Anyway the girl in there gave me another site to check out.

Hello Sistas,

an ode to refash

The First Wednesday Refash

Well the first wednesday refash
went off without a hitch,
yet unfortunately for some
not with out an itch..

The night was mild
Asleep was the child
So the girls all gathered outside
In the warmth of the night
They created such delights
All sitting side by side

There was Siggita, sassita and lovely lazzita
there was also Julieta and jovial Judita
but unfortunately all the sistas weren't there
we were missing Kezita and Bella Belita

Judita was bitten all night long
Although she was trying to be strong.
Lazzita suggested using vinegar
To sooth her bites and help her along
But the more Jude drew the worse it got
Those mossie chicks are a nasty lot.

Julietta created with her clay
Quietly working and playing away
Till the figures appeared expressing what
Shed done in her week, what an interesting lot
She shared her work with all the gals
Which pleased the art therapist very well
We look forward to seeing the muffin tin piece
When it is completed or nearly at least

Lazz’s soldering iron was proudly dragged out
Its new she told us without a doubt
She stroked the tip to make it wet
That iron is treated with so much respect
Well those mosaic rings are just divine
I simply can’t wait to make one mine

Poor Sigita it seems forgot all her stuffing
Her dolls were all flat and full of nothing
Yet she plodded on and made new dolls,
Sharing her patterns, spots and all
The dolls were flat but not our Siggita
She was cutting and sewing and boy is she neat-a

Sassita had a lot of fun
Beading and bending
On a dragonfly run
She worked away so efficiently
they were all but done
When she got up to leave.

Bellita sent her T’s along
She wasn’t there but her presence was strong
The case with the doiley t’s sat before us
As we shared our ideas on which should adorn us

And where was our lovely kitchy Kezita
She was at yoga doing downward dog-ita
She was breathing in calm and stretching away
So we’ll just have to see her another day

Yes the night was balmy and yet again
The sisters met, what special friends.
